The Toledo railway station is a railway station in Toledo, Spain, which was designed by architect Narciso Clavería y de Palacios in the Neo-Mudéjar style.〔(Estaciones Históricas ), Adif〕 The railway reached Toledo in 1858. The present station opened in 1919 or 1920, replacing the original station which was of functional design. The central section is flanked by two side naves, one of which is adjacent to the clock tower, which imitates the style of Toledo church towers. The station has been declared a Property of Cultural Interest and classified as a monument. It was restored in the twenty-first century in connection with the inauguration of a high-speed service to Madrid in 2005.〔(Madrid - Toledo line ), Adif〕 GS4 zz3016ToledoBahnhof.jpg | The tower Toledo railway station.jpg | View from platforms GS4 zz3013ToledoBahnhof.jpg | Vestíbulo estación Toledo.jpg | Hall Toledo-Estación de Renfe-3.jpg | Ceiling Aranjuez EstacionFFCC LamparasVestibulo.jpg | The station at Aranjuez is slightly later in date but presents similarities to Toledo station The railway company responsible for the construction of Toledo station, the ''Compañía de los Ferrocarriles de Madrid a Zaragoza y Alicante'', also built other stations in Neo-Mudejar style such as that of Aranjuez. == References == * (ArchiSeek entry ) 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Toledo railway station」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
